How to install Commander NV100 on your Riflescope?
What you need for installing the NV100 on the scope
Commander NV100 (Battery included)
Riflescope Adapter(42/45/48mm optional)
Electrical Tape (package included)
Allen Key (package included)
Riflescope (not included)
Step 1: Battery Installation
Commander NV100 is supplied via a 3.7V 18650 Lithium rechargeable. Remove the battery compartment cap and make sure the positive polarity end is inward with the negative end touching the cap, Put the cap back and screw it until snug tight (If cap is not tight could result in intermittent operation of unit).
Step 2: Connect the adapter to Commander NV100
Connect the NV100 with riflescope adapter by aligning at the junction point. Rotate the riflescope adapter 45 degree clockwise unit it 'click' to complete installation.
Step 3: install the adapter and NV100 on riflescope
Fit NV100 adapter to the riflescope, it fits scopes with a maximum eyepiece outer diameter of 48mm, if the eye piece is under this diameter use the supplied tape to increase your eye piece diameter to ensure a snug fit scope ring fit.
Step 4: Power up NV100 and adjust dioptre
Power up the unit and set up the date, then you will see a diopter adjustment assistant pattern on the screen, adjust the diopter by rotating Diopter Adjustment Handwheel until the pattern become sharp when looking through eye display, press OK button to exit.
Step 5: Focus reticle and fix scope adapter
Look through the unit and adjust the barrel focus ring so you get pin sharp image of your scope reticule, rotate the scope ring adaptor to align the reticule so it is perfectly aligned to your shooting style and mounting position. Then re-tighten scope ring mount once complete.
Step 6: Adjust the unit make the picture clear
With the unit fitted to your scope, dipotre and reticule in focus, finally use the scopes front or side parallax adjustment to focus on your subject or target point, this will adjusting for various distances.
Step 7: Commander NV100 reticle center position adjustment
If the reticle is not centered, you can adjust it through the Reticle Center Position Adjustment Menu, please see the pic as below. You can press up/down/left/right button to adjust the scope reticle to the center of the screen, then press OK button to save.

Q: How do you update the Commander NV100's firmware?
A: Put the TF-card in a card reader and connect to your PC, go to resource page and download the latest firmware, copy it to the root directory, then insert the TF card into the Commander NV100, turn it on, the firmware will be automatically updated and shut down, finally remove the TF card and delete the firmware in the root directory through your computer.
Q: How do you setup the Commander NV100 a longer eye relief?
A: Please make sure the firmware has been updated to the latest version. Holding the red dots button for 2 seconds, screen will be zoomed out, the eye relief distance become longer for shooting.
Q: How do you change the rubber eye cup for the longer eye relief on the Commander NV100?
A: To remove the eye cup you can just rip it hard off the eyepiece.
Q: How do you use the laser pointer and how do you adjust it on the Commander NV100?
A: You can adjust the position of the laser by the two tiny grub screws at the top and side of the laser housing, if adjusted correctly it can be used as an aiming aid - you could adjust it to coincide with poi at say 25 yards.
Q: How do you playback footage you have recorded on the Commander NV100?
A: Holding the MENU button for 3 seconds, you will see the video files, Holding the MENU button for 3 seconds again, you will see the photo files, please check the instruction manual page 13.
