What is Sony STARVIS 2 Technology?
Sony STARVIS 2 is the second generation of Sony’s STARVIS technology, which is a back-illuminated pixel technology developed explicitly for CMOS image sensors. The STARVIS 2 technology boasts a larger pixel size, allowing it to capture more light and produce clearer, more detailed footage in low-light conditions. It offers improved low-light performance, high resolution and clarity.

INTERCHANGEABLE LENSES
The Commander NV500 Eagle offers two lens options: 1.5-19.5x and 2-26x. Switch seamlessly between them based on your needs.
AUTO LENS DETECTION
When the lens connects to the Commander NV500 main body via 12 metal pins, the NV500 reads the lens parameters and maps them to its internal database. The lens data will then be displayed on the screen.
VARIABLE APERTURE
The Commander NV500 Eagle 1.5X lens Variable Aperture puts you in control. Adjust the aperture to adapt to changing lighting conditions. Whether you’re tracking elusive game at dawn or observing a dimly lit area, fine-tune the aperture for optimal clarity.

1500-YARD LASER RANGEFINDER
Precision at your fingertips. Connect an external laser rangefinder module to the NV500 Eagle, providing accurate distance measurements up to 1500 yards.
BALLISTIC CALCULATOR
Eliminate guesswork from your shots. The Commander NV500 Eagle’s ballistic calculator automatically adjusts the reticle for distance, wind, angle, and other factors. Enter your ballistic data, aim, and fire—the NV500 Eagle handles the rest. Store up to 7 sets of ballistic data and switch between firearms without re-zeroing. The NV500 Eagle also automatically switches ballistic algorithms based on different Lenses, ensuring precision no matter the lens you use.
4X-52X SMOOTH ZOOM
From 4x to 52x magnification, the NV500 Eagle offers adjustable smooth zooming. Precise aiming options with increments of 1 or 0.5 ensure you hit your mark every time.
ONE-SHOT ZERO
Save time and effort. Achieve one-shot zeroing with the NV500 Eagle. Store up to 6 sets of zero data and seamlessly switch between different firearms without re-zeroing.
DIGITAL FFP & SFP RETICLES
Choose your reticle style. Enjoy the flexibility of First Focal Plane (FFP) or Second Focal Plane (SFP) reticles with the NV500 Eagle.
CUSTOMIZABLE RETICLE OPTIONS
